Mia Goth

Born in 1993, Mia Goth is half Canadian, half British model and actress.

Lars Von Trier picked Mia to star alongside Shia LaBeouf, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Willem Dafoe, Christian Slater and Stellan Skarsgard in his new film Nymphomaniac, released 2014.

Bambi-eyed, full lipped and button nosed, Mia has the beauty of youth and her grasp on life seems strong, taking advice from her grandmother and itching to get involved with politics, demonstrating a level-headedness that will serve her well in the buzz to come.

Mia was born in London, her Mum is from Brazil and my dad is from Canada so she grew up travelling a lot. At the moment she splits her time between Lewisham with her mum, and Los Angeles with boyfriend and co-star Shia LaBeouf.

Mia was scouted at the underage music festival in Victoria Park, London. The photographer, Gemma Booth, allowed asked her to do work experience with her when she was 15. On her final day, she took Mia to Storm Modelling Agency where they quickly signed her up.

When asked about her style, Mia said she buys most of her clothes from charity shops and second hand stores, “it’s cheaper and I find really beautiful pieces. I also like to invest in valuable items such as good shoes, bags and coats. I would say my style is a combination of classic items meets casual street wear”.

In early 2013 Mia has a small role as Sophie in TV Series The Tunnel (Series 1 Episode 3).

Mia has appeared in some short film photoshoots “Haunted Love” and “The Next Muse” for Vogue Magazine. She has also modeled for Pepe Jeans & Boots.

In 2014 Mia starred in the short film “Magpie” by Stephen Fingleton. This is the prequel to The Survivalist (2015) which has been made into a feature film, due in cinemas . You can follow more information at the official website www.magpieshort.com

Mia’s first major red carpet appearance was with boyfriend Shia LaBeouf at the London Film Festival and premiere of Fury on October 19th 2014.

In January 2015 it was announced that Mia would be the new face of Miu Miu.

Next up for Mia, is the release of the set-to-be-blockbuster Everest (2015) where she will play Meg. The film is directed by Baltasar Kormákur and stars Keira Knightley, Jake Gyllenhaal, Josh Brolin and Sam Worthington.
